Event Name Bearweek 2012 - Provincetown, MA Bear Week
Event Description One of the most popular weeks in Provincetown reaches a big milestone this year: it’s the 10th anniversary of Bear Week, July 10-18. Thousands of bears from around the world will gather at the seaside gay resort town for a week of fun and camaraderie. Whether you’re a bear or not, this is an event not to be missed.

Bear Week offers something for everyone – parties, entertainment, food, beaches, cruises, tours, hiking, and more. Best of all, Bear Week is all about having fun just being yourself – no airs, no judgment, no ego, no pretense. All shapes and sizes are welcome. Folks who work in Provincetown will be the first to tell you Bear Week is one of their favorite theme weeks of the summer. If gaydom were a Walmart, bears would be the greeters at the door -- big smiles, big hearts, generous and approachable. 

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Bear Week, BEARNATION.us is proud to host four Sunset Socials at the Crown & Anchor. Every night from Tuesday, July 13 through Friday, July 16, stop by the Wave Bar and pool between 6 and 8:30 p.m. for snacks, $3 beers, and daily drink specials.
